Nessa - A qualified registered veterinary nurse wanting to make a difference to the lives of pets and their parents.
At A Nuzzle of Trust, care begins with connection.
Founded and run by a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN), this service was created to bring professional, compassionate, and deeply personalised support to pets and their families — right where they feel safest: at home.
Every nuzzle, every quiet moment of reassurance, is built on trust. That’s what inspires my approach — to nurture wellbeing through empathy, understanding, and respect.
Based in Kent, I aim to eventually be able to offer my services nationwide, which is another reason why I feel an online service will be very beneficial.

My mission is to provide expert care, support, and education to enhance pet well-being and bridge the gap between pet parents and vets.
I am also dedicated to guiding families through difficult times with empathy and understanding.
My Oath
Upon qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN), I am required to follow the Code of Conduct established by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). This code explicitly prohibits me from diagnosing health issues in your pets or prescribing treatments.
My primary responsibility is to collaborate with your vet to provide high-quality care for your pets. If I observe any potential health concerns, I will advise you to consult your vet for a thorough check-up.
As a veterinary nurse, my duties vary and include assisting with pre- and post-operative care, performing nursing procedures, and educating pet owners about their pets' health and welfare. It is important to clarify that my role complements that of your vet, who has the specialised training and qualifications necessary to make clinical decisions and develop treatment plans.
In the event of any health issues with your pet, and with both your and your veterinarian's consent, I can help facilitate a coordinated approach to your pet's care.
Veterinary medicine is inherently a collaborative field, and I am committed to offering support and guidance to ensure your pet's health is prioritised. I understand the importance of your pet's well-being and am here to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
